How to Navigate Notes


First, select the property of interest, and click on Notes tab.

  • To create a note, click on “Add a Note” option.
  • To change note color, click on the upper left corner of the note and choose a color.
  • If you would like to send this note to records click on the arrow.

To rename a note: Open it and edit the header by selecting the text and typing over it.

Things to know about Notes:

  • To add or edit Note Description, click on the “Edit” button within the “Description” section. Note Description can contain text, images, tables, links, media files and Forms. To insert any of the enumerated items, click on Insert option while in edit mode. Notably, you can insert a form from templates by clicking on Insert and selecting “form.” Then choose the form of interest and click “Insert” at the bottom of the page. When satisfied with the Note Description click on Save button.
  • To add a JSA form click on the cog wheel and enable JSA by checking the box.
  • Notes can contain checklists. You can Import an existing checklist from your templates or standards by clicking on the “Import a Checklist” option and select the checklist or multiple checklists by clicking on them (notice the blue highlight around the selected checklists). Then click “Import,” at the bottom of the page. Alternatively, you can create a new checklist within this Note by clicking on the “Add a checklist button.” Then add checklist items one by one by clicking on the “Add Item” button. To edit the checklist, click on the cog wheel. In the new pop-up window, you will be able to edit the name of the checklist, its items, move items within the list, whether they require an image, add an example of image, enable geo-stamping of uploaded images or delete items by clicking on the red bin in front of each item or delete the checklists by clicking on the “Delete” button. When done, click on “Close” button or the X.
  • You can leave comments within the Note in the Comment section by clicking on it and typing the text. Then hit “Post”
  • You can upload files or images to the Note by either dragging and dropping them per checklist item, clicking on the camera to upload from a folder or if there are no checklists defined, drop the files and images in the “Drop File” section at the right bottom corner of the page.
  • The Notes can be assigned by adding assignees, or can be followed by adding followers.
  • Additionally, you can create reminders, add a tag to the note, set timeline, priority levels and Note status in the upper right section of the Note.
  • The ability to clock in and out of the Note or Task will allow to track the total logged time.
  • Finally, to delete the Note click on “Delete Task” in the top right corner of the page.
! Note: Task Deletion is an irreversible action.
